Construction of Classical Guitars

Liuteria Appino produces different types of handmade instruments from original drawings 
or following specific customer's requests.
Below some examples of instruments made in my workshop.

CE16 model




Instrument with a warm and balanced sound.

Created following a 1970 Ramirez model for the body, i use only quality materials for this guitar:

  • Cedar wood  for the top. 
  • Rosewood for back, sides and bridge.
  • Ebony for the fingerboard
  • Mahogany for the neck.

 Completely handmade in each part, this model is available with shellac finish or polyurethane varnish.


SP16 model

 


This is an instrument with a quick and balanced sound.


Created following a 1970 Ramirez model for the body, i use only quality materials for this guitar:

  • "Val di Fiemme" italian red spruce for the top. 
  • Rosewood for back, sides and bridge.
  • Ebony for the fingerboard.
  • mahogany for the neck.

 Completely handmade in each part, this model is available with shellac finish or polyurethane varnish.
