This is a double bass model

with a deep “orchestra” sound.

This double bass is made following a 1720 Matteo Goffriller model. I made it without the original “C” extension and reshaping the neck.

¾ size, has a 105 cm strings length.

• ·         "Val di Fiemme" spruce is used for the soundboard.
• ·         Flamed black poplar is used for back and sides.
• ·         Ebony is used for fingerboard and tailpiece.

Only quality materials are used to make this completely handmade instrument.

This model is varnished with oil paint.
